K-2 Popsicles/Facepaint: Students will receive one popsicle at this station and and also enjoy getting their face painted! Students may get a small design put on their hand or face. Only one per student because of timing purposes. Feel free to be creative but remember we have to get all students done in the 12 minutes.
Equipment: cups for water, table, chairs, paint, q-tips, paper towel, garbage cans,
popsicles, scissors, coolers to keep popsicles in
K-2 SkiiBall: Divide the class into 5 teams and have each child start with a bean bag. First person in each line will underhand throw their bean bag and try to get it to land in a hula hoop in their row of hula hoops. Only one person per team throws at a time. If they make it in their hoop they leave it and get a new bean bag and go to the end of their line. If they miss, they go pick up that bean bag and go to the end of the line. Continue until the bean bags are gone, or until it is almost the end and see which team has the most points. The closest hula hoop is worth one point, the middle hoop is worth 2 points, and the last hoop is worth 3 points. Make sure they are throwing from behind their cone and not creeping closer. Keep extra bean bags in a bucket in a centrally located area.
Equipment: 5 cones, lots of bean bags, 15 hulahoops
